This Is Why Tesla Owners Don't Pay for Car Washes
There's a feature called Carwash Mode. One button. It closes all the windows, locks the charge port, disables the wipers, folds the mirrors, and turns off the automatic parking sensors so they don't freak out inside the tunnel.
Without it? Your wipers randomly activate, your mirrors get caught, and the parking sensors are throwing alerts the whole time. It's a mess.
Controls → Service → Carwash Mode. Done. Drive in. Drive out.
Now here's the Seattle angle, if you have solar at home, you can also rinse your car yourself for basically free. The water pump runs on a few hundred watts. If your panels are producing? That's a free rinse.
Small thing. Adds up. That's the whole game with Tesla and solar, every little thing you stop paying for compounds.
